Welcome to Bitbotsworld. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website accessible at https://bitbotsworld.com (the “Site”) and the purchase of any products from our online store.

By accessing our Site or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Throughout the Site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Bitbotsworld.

2. Products & Print-on-Demand Fulfillment

All products sold on Bitbotsworld are manufactured on-demand (“Print-on-Demand”) through our fulfillment partner Gelato AS upon receipt of an order.

  • Product Representations & Mockups: We make every reasonable effort to display product colors, prints, and mockups accurately. However, actual physical print colors, sizing scale, and exact positioning may slightly vary due to display screen settings, garment sizes, and print technology (DTG/sublimation).
  • Manufacturing Tolerances: Industry-standard manufacturing tolerances of +/- 2.5 cm (1 inch) for sizing and minor print placement deviations are expected and do not constitute a product defect.

3. Order Placement & Contract Formation

  • Order Process: Placing an item in your shopping cart does not constitute a binding contract. By completing the checkout process and clicking “Place Order” (or equivalent payment confirmation), you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected goods.
  • Acceptance: A binding purchase contract is formed once we issue an automated order confirmation email containing your order details.
  • Order Modifications & Cancellations: Due to our automated print-on-demand workflow, orders enter production rapidly. Changes to shipping addresses, item sizing, or cancellations can only be processed if requested before the order reaches “In Production” status. Once production has started, orders cannot be modified or canceled.

4. Pricing, Taxes & Customs

  • Prices: All prices displayed on the Site are listed in the currency indicated at checkout. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without notice, but price adjustments will not apply to orders already confirmed.
  • Local Production & Customs Duties: Whenever possible, orders are processed and printed locally in the destination region through our global fulfillment network to ensure fast delivery and eliminate import fees. However, if an order requires cross-border shipment due to regional stock or material availability, any applicable local import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees levied by the destination country remain the sole responsibility of the customer (importer of record).

5. Payments & Cryptocurrency

We accept payments via various credit/debit card gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and Cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin via BTCPay Server).

  • Cryptocurrency Volatility: Payments made in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are calculated based on the real-time exchange rate provided at checkout. Once payment is broadcast to the network, the exchange rate for that transaction is locked.
  • Network Fees: Customers are responsible for any blockchain network fees (miner/gas fees) required to complete their transaction.

6. Shipping, Delivery & Failed Deliveries

  • Fulfillment & Transit: Standard production takes 2–5 business days prior to dispatch. Transit times vary depending on the destination country and chosen logistics carrier.
  • Shipping Delays & Force Majeure: We are not liable for delivery delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including customs processing delays, severe weather, natural disasters, or carrier strikes.
  • Incorrect Addresses & Undeliverable Packages: Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. If a package is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or failure to collect from a local pickup spot, the customer is responsible for re-shipment costs.

7. Right of Withdrawal & Return Policy (Custom Products)

A. Exclusion of Statutory Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer protection law (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU) and international standards for made-to-order goods, the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-printed or personalized products. Because every item is custom manufactured upon your specific request, we cannot accept returns, size exchanges, or refunds for buyer’s remorse.

B. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective in print/material, or incorrect, we will promptly remedy the issue at no cost to you.

  • Claims Window: Please inspect your package upon delivery and notify us within 30 days of receipt at [email protected].
  • Required Proof: Please provide your order number, clear photographs of the defect/damage (including photos of the damaged shipping container if carrier damage occurred), and a brief description.
  • Remedy: Upon verification, we will arrange a replacement free of charge or issue a refund.

8. Refunds & Cryptocurrency Refund Terms

Where a refund is approved under Section 7.B (or required by mandatory law):

  • Standard Payments: Refunds for purchases made via credit card, PayPal, or traditional payment processors will be credited directly to the original payment method.
  • Cryptocurrency Refunds: Refunds for purchases paid in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency will be issued equivalent to the original fiat value in the currency of purchase at the time of checkout. Cryptocurrency refunds may be paid in the original cryptocurrency (calculated at the prevailing market rate at the time of refund processing) or via an agreed-upon alternative payout method.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including artwork, designs, graphics, logos, images, text, and brand assets, is the exclusive intellectual property of Bitbotsworld and protected by international copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of our designs is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability, Severability & Governing Law

  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bitbotsworld shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Site or products.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall remain enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protection rights under your local jurisdiction remain unaffected.
